No judgment please.

I had my first prenatal appointment on the 1st. They calledme bavk Wednesday to tell me that I tested positive for chlamydia. They prescribed me Clindamycin. The dosage is 300mg 4 times a day for 7 days. But I can't take it. It makes me so sick and makes me feel like my throat is swelling closed. Anybody else experienced this? Or know what else I can take? I'm going to call my OB in the morning. But I'm scared they are going to tell me that there is nothing else for me. Ugh. :/

They can give you azithromyacin, comes in a 2-4 pill dosage you take once and it should take care of it.

I once had chlamydia awhile ago,  I got it from my boyfriend that I was dating for almost a year,  nice way to find out he cheated right!? Not,  ha anyway...  Not sure how it works with the whole pregnancy thing...  But they can give you a shot and a one time dosage of two pills.  Ask them about that,  because at first I was prescribed what they gave you and it made me extremely sick as well! Good luck.

There's a lot of other stuff that can help. If you tell your dr it makes you feel that way they'll figure it out. I would definitely stop taking them cuz that sounds like an allergic reaction.
