im so stressed literally ! like I had washed all the newborn and 0-3 months clothing and when I dried them they all shrunk :( and it was alot of clothes what am I going to do it was clothes that me and bf bought and baby shower clothes, im so bummed to the max ! what am i going to do .. ughh plus im 37 weeks and its so little time :(((

And plus with children using cold water will get out juice, food, dirt, and any other stains they can get in a day. Warm/hot water will only set the stains in.

Wow, I would never have thought about that.  Thanks for posting this, you may have saved other mommies (ie me) some annoyance.  I wash almost everything on warm or hot.

I used permanent press when I washed my baby clothes using the dreft && I dried them on regular heat

First tip about washing brand new clothes....wash in cold water and never completely dry them. Once they are starting to get dry take them out and hang dry or hang dry as soon as they come out of the washer. We wash everything in cold and if its bought new I always hang dry even after 5-6 times of it being worn.

Well how much did they shrink. Most clothes all shrink when you wash and dry them the first time.

Try to put them in cold water and strech them a little, hot warm will make them shrink. Always on a low dry or a air dry
