did you have your baby by c-section? if you did sometimes they do have abit of fluid on the lungs as when born vaginally most of this gets forced out as they travel down thru the birth canal. If you breastfeeding/pumping its not uncommon for breastfed babys to only poo once a week
Sorry to hear he's sick! For the constipation you should ask your dr tomorrow what they suggest, but there are lots of solutions. Some babies do better on a low iron formula.
Good luck tomorrow let us know how it goes.
I had similar issues with Lexi. Her pediatrician said its normal to hear that congestion in their chests as newborns and infants and didn't bat and eyelash. She's ten months old now and still has it. she has allergies so she does take liquid zyrtec now, but I haven't noticed a difference. As for the constipation, we gave Lexi one ounce of prune juice and one half of a pediatric glycerine suppository. It still doesn't soften her stool so she now gets one teaspoon of miralax in her bottle when she gets backed up. If you are bottle feeding the formula can cause constipation.
