That depends a lot on circumstances. Such as how long you've not been protecting, and what methods you're using. If you're not trying, it's not surprising it hasn't happened yet. Even having sex on your ovulation days doesn't guarantee it will happen. As said, you only have a 25% chance that pregnancy will occur. There are many factors that play into it. How long have you been not trying/not preventing?

well i have just been curious lately as to why i havent been getting pregnant. i figured if it was going to happen it would have happened already. i have been doing a lot of research on this site as well as other sites. i always suspect something after i read research because i always have those signs and/or symptoms. it really doesnt help that im a hypochondriac and that makes it worse. i thought my timing was bad and i even started using a O tracker and i BD on the days it said i need too and still nothing. so after that didnt work thats when i start to suspect things. im gonna try these next few cycles to use an OPK and if that doesnt help then a obgyn visit is definitely in order.

For a normal healthy couple who is actively trying, tijming intercourse perfectly with ovulation, it can take 1-2 years to become pregnant.  IF you are actively trying and timing things right you only have about a 25% chance of conceiving each month.

Just becuase you have not gotten pregnant yet doesn't mean there is anythign wrong.  Is there a particular reason you suspect ovarian cysts?  Many women get cysts each cycle when they ovulate but they go away.  This is why a lot of women have ovulation cramps.  These particular cysts don't hinder conception.

The reason why you haven't gotten pregnant is becuase the timing hasn't been just right and that one strong sperm has not been present at the time of ovulation.  If you realyl suspect cysts, speak with your obgyn.

I haven't really been trying to get pregnant and I havent been trying to prevent it either so I wanna know exactly why I havent gotten pregnant thus far

What exactly are you wanting to check?  What is your reason for wanting to be checked?  They can do ultrasounds if they suspect fertility issues or issues with other internal organs.  They don't usually do them unless there is a diagnostic need though.
