Over prepared?

Ladies. I'm concerned. Is it possible tone overly prepared? I'm 14 weeks and ready to buy a crib. Is it too soon? I'm sure I would want the same regardless of gender,  but do you think it's too soon? I can get the crib and mattress for 150 after tax and don't want to miss a good deal....

Buy whenever your comfortable,for me though pregnancy feels so long i wanted to wait till i was atleast half way if not more through to buy big stuff like a crib.

I'm 14 weeks also && I already have a crib, playpen, car seat, high chair, a few toys and diaper bag. On top of all of that, my husband and I have friends with tons of more stuff to give us but I wanna wait a few weeks to start saying yes because most of their stuff is gender specific!

I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and I've already got our crib. Nothing is set up yet. But I've started to get little things. Ill start setting stuff up around 30ish weeks.

I didn't buy anything until I was much further along, I'm not sure if it was a superstitious thing or what. I think it's just because I didn't want to buy anything just in case something happened and he didn't end up coming home. But if you want to why not :)

I did not buy anything till i was 28wks..  not even a hat lol... but there were many reasons. i had miscarriage prior to this pregnancy at 11wks and my brother lost his son at 18wks his wife had placenta abruption. So i was not willing to get anything until i start feeling his movements because they reassure me that he is doing fine.. but thats me.. every women is different if you are willing to buy you can if you want to wait its your wish :)...

That totally up to you, you are out of your 1st trimester now so shop away if you want. I personally didnt buy anything until i found out the gender but a crib and mattress is not gender specific so no worries there.

ill be 26 weeks tomorrow and im waiting till like march to buy mine just cause i think its to soon...im superstisious like that tho:)
