Overprotective Coworkers

Anyone else have coworkers that are a little overprotective of them? I dont like asking for help with things I feel that I can do myself and am not afraid to bend or lift certain things as long as it doesnt hurt. Some of my coworkers seem surprised at my work ethic being 34wks along... but unless my Dr, boss, or my body says otherwise I have no qualms with doing what they do. I even shoveled snow and put out salt last Sunday when we got hit with a snow storm.

Yes! I work during the week with my bosses and they are super cautious because the wife has had a miscarriage, they won't let me mop or bend down to get things out of cupboards or take orders to customers table. They even tell me to slow down when they think I'm walking too fast! As for ladders, I don't let myself use them because I get lightheaded and dizzy easily so I don't want to risk a fall. I just let them do things for me, it eases their mind and makes my work life a lot easier. Its home where I have issues. I sprained my back three weeks ago doing laundry and they won't let me do anything now! I can't wash the bathroom or do the dishes or laundry anymore. I feel a but useless so I just wait until everyone goes to sleep and toodle around the house.

Hahahahha! I know how you feel!! I work with all women! One of my supervisors even tells me what I should and should not eat (out of love ) another won't let me climb ladders or reach for things lift things etc and they all let me eat or drink where ever I feel like it now. I'm only 16 weeks. I can't imagine what it'll be like in about 20 weeks
