Hi,
I used an ovulation testing kit this month.
The best way to do this is to pee in the cup then hold the strip in the cup for 10-15 secs (thats wat i did).
On CD12 i tested, got a control line but no test line. on CD15 i tested & got both the Control line & test line, and my test line was darker than my control. The test line HAS to be darker than the control line to be a positive for ovulation. If it is fainter than the control line, then its not a positive for ovulation. Keep testing though as you should get the positive for ovulation in the next few days after that.
Make sure you test at same time each day. Doesnt have to be 1st morning urine, i did mine in the arvo about 5pm.
Good luck.
Im currently on 5DPO & counting - only got the 2WW now (almost 2WW- more like 1.5 WW lol)
Let us know how you go.

I used the Clearblue easy and was also using the calandar on babyzone to make sure I was on track well I started testing the day I bout them cd12 and negative but the next day there was a faint line so I tested on cd13-cd14 still negative didnt test cd15 tested cd16 and got a faint but visible positive so Last night I kept waking up to pee all last night and this morning, I woke up at 11 and at that time I had been to the restroom around 10 times since last night really strange so I tested today at 4 45pm and the positive was as dark as the control line.
i used them and they were very helpful! i highly recommend the brand that has the smiley faces rather than the lines. they are much easier to read and it's so exciting to see the smiley face!
