PCOS and Conceiving

Hi,
I havent had a period for 6 months due to my PCOS I know I'm not having a baby because I have takin mutiple test and all read negitive not only that I'd be about 6 months and I think I'd know by now.. but I have had unprotected sex the past month and just yesterday I started spotting (water like blood) just for a few times I went to the restroom and then it just suddenly stopped and no since then and no cramping .. could I have concevied ?? Is it possible , beings that I havent had a period in so long to still get p-g?? Help please !!

If you have PCOS you will need to get the PCOS under control because chances are you are not even ovulating as many PCOSers do not ovulate, thus you won't be able to conceive. Not having a period for half a year is very concerning. If you're overweight losing even 15 lbs can get those ovaries working again. There are also medications and holistic ways to get symptoms under control. Spotting does not indicate pregnancy.

I'm only about 20lbs over weight but have heard that will help out .. thanks ladies so much for your comments and Dreamia Congrats!!!

You could have spontaneously ovulated and be prego, but with what you have described it is highly unlikely...You more than likely just irritated your cervix which could be the cause of the intermittent bleeding or you could be about to start a cycle...I would go to the doc to have the PCOS checked...Joy is right about losing weight and PCOS as I have it and after losing weight and taking meds we are currently 9wks 6days prego...
