Pain medicine

i have been having bad toothaches for the past 4 weeks and i have seen a dentist multiple times but due to insurance policies ive been having to wait a while to get anything done. now i have been to the dentist and they told me i could take the hydrocodone 5 500mg tablets to help with the pain....does anyone know if this would be an ok thing to do?....my pregnancy has been normal and all my signs have been good. i have not had any problems with my pregnancy to date.

Hydrocodone is safe during pregnancy so long as it's not taken for a long period of time.  I have taken the hydrocodone 7/500 tabs with this pregnancy due to severe back and hip pain.  I also took it for a wisdom tooth removal with one of my other pregnancies.

I'm taking that right now and have my entire pregnancy and will my entire pregnancy due to 2 spinal fractures and a pelvic fracture (horseback riding accident March 2 of this year). It is safe just done exceed 4,000mg of accetominiphin per 24hr period of time. So check other medications so make sure.

I hope you are feeling better soon!
