Placenta previa
I went to the doctor yesterday and she has concerns because my placenta is partially covering my cervix causing me to have placenta previa. So now my doctor has me refraining from sex or anything that involves the vagina. The good thing is that it is possible that the placenta moves further up as I progress through the pregnancy (I'm 15 weeks). Has anyone else had or currently has placenta previa?
Gabby, best you can do is stay strong and positive. You're in a waiting game, and it could go either way.
Very often, the placenta does migrate upwards and away from the cervix. But there's nothing you can do, except abstain from "anything that involves the vagina", as you say, and pray for the best.

I found out I had placenta previa at 12 weeks. At my 20 week ultrasound it had completely moved up and out of the way. I hope the same for you!
