Yes. They should be checking heartbeat every appointment. If you have a concern address that with them :)

Ive had an early scan and my dating scan but still not heard it. I have an appointment with my consultant on thursday do you think i mite hear it then ?

12 weeks (: because that's when you can hear it the best... and that was my first appointment

I didn't hear my baby's heartbeat until my second appointment at 14 weeks. My doctor didn't check my baby's heartbeat at my first appointment and I was 11 weeks already.

I got to hear my baby girls heartbeat at my first ultrasound which was at 6 weeks and my doctor uses the Doppler at all of my appointments

I had a doctor's appointment at 7 weeks and that's when I heard his heartbeat. Your doctor should be listening at every appointment.
