Please answer

Can your water break without having any pain? I Went Pee and I noticed my underwears were wet I smelled it and it smelled like pee but idk what to think about it . I'm due 2mrw but docter said I wasn't dialted at all when the doctee told me this it was last Tuesday. Also I'm having no pain so please explain if its just pee or what ? Im a ftm.. Thanks

Call Labor & Delivery for medical advice. That's why they are there. I remember being so afraid to call, but it turned out to be helpful information talking to a nurse.

If your not leaking not in any pain then i wouldn't be concerned. If you are then I would call your on call doctor to make sure.

Whwn my water broke I didnt start having pain until a few hours later. My midwife always told me if it can fill up a pad its probably your water, why dont you try that? Your water will normally not just stop once it starts. When mine broke I heard a big pop sound and a gush of water, but once it starts it doesnt normally stop.

If your not leaking and there wasn't a big gush and there's no pain then i wouldn't worry. If you are worried the best thing to do would be to call the on call doctor. I hope everything works out! (:

@baby David no ive been sitting on the toliet for like 10 mins nothing is leaking.  
@anessakayla18 so if I don't have pain should I be concerned or no ?

My doctor told me when my water breaks that it's not supposed to smell.  Your water can break though without you having pain my doctor said.  Contractions should start soon after though.  That is just what my doctor told me.
