Possibly pregnant

Ok, so I know you ladies have probably read many stories like mine.  BUT, I still feel the need to discuss this with someone because my mom doesn't want to talk about it.  I was scheduled for my depo provera shot on August 20th.  I went to the doctor and decided that I wasn't going to get it.  Matter of fact, I didn't want any type of birth control.  I had been on the shot once before for about 2 1/2 years.  Came off the shot and went on the pill for about 9 months and had a lot of issues with it.  So I went back on the shot for like 1 1/2 years.  Then my fiance and I decided that we wanted to try to have a child.  When I asked how long it would take for me to conceive, my LPN told me anywhere from a month to 1 year.  Well, I've been off for almost 3 months now.  I usually have some brown spotting around the 23rd of each month, I assume this is when I should have my period.  But in October, I didn't have the spotting.  Well, for the last week and a half, I have been having severe nausea and headaches.  I get nausea when I eat, after I eat, and anywhere in between.  I also have acid reflux, which has been acting up a lot worse during the past 2 weeks.  My uterus feels strange, and I feel bloated all the time.  I'm not a religious person or anything, but this morning I asked our heavenly father for a sign if I was pregnant or not... and I got some severe nausea.  I don't know if it is just a coincidence or I'm just getting all worked up.  But as I sit here typing this, I am fighting back the urge to vomit.  It is so bad that I take motion sickness pills on the daily.  My breasts are sore and heavy, but not so sore that they hurt when I shower.  I just don't know what to do because I have read that the depo shot can affect the HCG levels on urine and blood pregnancy tests.  Someone please give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

You should test hon. I am fairly sure that the depo shot doesn't ACTUALLY interfere with results, although I've read that too...it's a different hormone. I would stop the motion sickness pills until you're sure if you're pregnant or not, and can see a doctor. They're probably safe but better not to risk it. If you're this sick and the pregnancy test comes back negative, you should go see your doctor so they can do a blood test and/or an ultrasound. Your symptoms DO sound like pregnancy, but the only way to know is to test because coming off the shot can mess with you too....Good luck, I really hope this is your month for a positive result :)

The depo shot does not contain HCG so will not impact the results of a HPT.

So I took a HPT... it was negative.  Maybe it's still too early to detect.  But I'm going to try to get in to see my LPN at the health department.  I just fear that they will not want to do a blood test or ultrasound because the urine test came back negative.  When I came off the shot before, I didn't have any of these types of problems.  Actually, I've never experienced anything like this in my life.

Hi Ladies, I have some questions about me being potentially pregnant or just going out of my mind. I'm 27 and my periods seemed to finally regulate on there own this year which is a good thing since they were all over place since the birth of my daughter in 07' So my periods were on 3.20, 4.21, 5.21, 6.21, 7,18, 8.15. Then all of a sudden I got a period on 9.29 which made me think I was pregnant because I was 17 DAYS LATE!!!! (Altho in the back of my mind I knew I wasn't) Well I expected my period to be late the following month and here it is Nov 13th and still nothing(im later this month then last month). Mymonthly.com tells me that I should've gotten my period on 10.31 again NOTHING!!! Me and my boyfriend have been practicing the withdrawl method although he's quite sloppy at it. He withdrawls on my va**** and then re-enters me and then withdrawls again on my va**** and re-enters me and then were finished ... Yes its quite a marathon anyways we BD on 10/07, 10/13, 10/17, 10/21, 10/26, 10/30/, 11/11. (im sure im missin a couple days)
I took a $$ hpt on 11/10 and it was negative, when I went back in the morning I seen a faint positive. I automatically disregarded it since it was well beyond the 10-15 min window(altho not the 1st time happening and I was actually pregnant). I'm so confused because I don't recall any ovulation pains and if I'm pregnant it would be a complete shock but definately wanted. The only symtoms I have is itchy breasts and nipples, runny nose, fatigue, gas, wierd dreams, extreme thirst, minor backaches, small twinges or minor cramps, burping and dizzy spells all explainable I'm sure. I don't want to spend the money on an h.p.t if I'm not and I don't care for the $$ store brand hpt because I don't know how reliable they are .. Any suggestions. I want to tell my boyfriend but I don't want to get him in an panic and I'm not pregnant ...

You should definitely test again... it may just be too early.  Wait a week and test again, if you still haven't got your period.  As far as the pull out method you are using, it's very possible you could be pregnant.  Although he pulled out and spunked on you, he put it back in.  There is still sperm that could still be living, not to mention pre-***.  There is live sperm in pre-***.  All of you symptoms seem to be pointing to possible pregnancy.  I also took a $$ brand and am not sure of the accuracy.
