Pregnancy after breastfeeding?

Ok so here it goes! I have a 10 month old son. I stopped breastfeeding about 9 1/2 weeks ago and I have yet to get my period. I have been nauseated for about two weeks straight, have bloating and sensitivity to smells. Since I haven't had a period in almost two years I am not sure if its Pregnancy symptoms or just the start of a period coming back. I have to note that I did spot about 5 days after I stopped breastfeeding for a few hours but absolutely nothing since then. I took a test 8 days ago and it was (-) but something is telling me maybe I should test again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah and I guess I should add the test I took came from the Dollar Store so Not exactly sure how reliable it would have been.

I would definitely retest!!! I just weaned my daughter a little over a month ago and hadn't had a period in almost 2 years as well. Found out just a few hours ago that I am indeed pregnant again so it's definitely possible.

It sounds like you are to me!  I used the dollar tree test for both the kids I already have, but if I were you I'd definately go buy me a good test. Good Luck!
