Hi!
No LH surge could mean quite a few things. It could be that you surged before day 11.
It could be that you are already pregnant. It could be that your tests are inaccurate or that you aren't interpreting them correctly. It could be that you are not ovulating.
The best way to find out what is going on (in my opinion) is to visit your doctor. If you were my patient, I would start on cycle day 3 with an FSH level, a Thyroid and prolactin test. These just to be certain that all the basic hormones are OK. By the way--I'm sure you are aware that cycle day 1 is the FIRST day of your period (not the last). Then on about cycle day 11 or 12, I would have you do an ultrasound looking for follicles. By this point in the cycle, there should be one or two dominant follicles that are getting close to 2 cm in size. Then one or two days after your surge you could repeat an ultrasound to check to be sure that the follicle is now a corpus luteum cyst. Finally, on day 21 (OR 7 days after ovulation) I would check a progesterone level to be sure that your corpus luteum cyst was producing enough progesterone and to confirm ovulation.
Since you are technically not infertile ( you just started trying!) you may want to defer all of this for awhile and just keep track of your cycles for a few months. Don't wait too long if your cycles are not regular and/or you are not getting an LH surge at midcycle though.
Good luck!

If you have a 28 day cycle that would mean you need to be testing on cycle day 10 not day 26 of your cycle.. The average woman ovulates on cycle day 14 of a twenty-eight day cycle And the first day of your period is considered day 1 .Count out your days from there and when you get to day 9 start testing every day twice mid day and 8pm from there. And you will catch your surge (hopefully). Do you chart because that would tell you when you ovulate and you would know when to start testing before your O date . That being said you wanna baby dance five days or every other day leading up to the day you ovulate to 2 days after. From reading what your saying your testing at the end of the month and your to late and that's why there negative.. charting for a few moths is a great way to know what your body is doing.. Good luck hope this helps.
Hiya
How often are you testing? i know when i am in my window i test twice a day otherwise you may miss your surge altogether?
An LH surge can last for an hour hour or you may have a postive for a few days in a row
It could mean you may have missed your surge or it is due- some people have a fade in pattern - how are your tests have they become darker each day
Also each cycle is different, i got so worked up when day 14 came i didnt get a pos opk day 15 came and went and so did the morning of day 16 by the evening i had a positive
You can still have an LH surge and not ovulate - thats why some people BBT also as they be able to show when you ovulate approx(i havent tried that one yet)
You may have to buy another pack of ovulation tests- i recomend the strips from ebay along side the more expensive ones as i can do them a few times a day at not much expense and when it looks promising double check with my clearblue or first response
I hope this has helped a little lol
I am on my tww 6dpo and hoping it goes so quick this is the worst bit
Baby dust to you
