If I were you, I'd call the doctor.  Especially if you have a fever.  It could be the flu, you never know!  You have nothing to loose by calling.  I've been sick too, same as you, but no fevers, that's why I haven't been too concerned.  But a fever is pretty much the main diference between a cold and a flu.  I'd rather be on the safe side...

i know that if you have a fever of 101 for more than 12 hours you are supposed to call your doctor. You could also try a humidifier in the room it helps keep your airways clearer and can help with you throat too. although it may not be a bad idea to call your doctor they may have more ideas or atleast let you know when they would want you to come in! also suck on hard candy like jolly ranchers, it keeps your throat wet because you keep creating more siliva and that actually help coat your throat! Good luck

Just to be on the safe side I would call the doctor, just because you are having twins! It maybe different with the twins than a singleton pergnancy! Better to be safe than sorry! Keep us posted on how you are feeling!

I agree with the above posts! But it doesn't hurt to call the Dr. and see what he/she has to say.

just keep your fever down and dehydrationa nd fevers can cause contractions so just watch for those signs. LAways call labor and delivery or you OB on call if you are worried form any new symptom.

I've been sick 3 times in the last 14weeks of my pregnancy...so I understand :(. as long as your fever isn't above like 102-103f you should be fine...just take tylenol to keep it down, drink some warm milk or tea to help your throat (you can use lozenges) ..call your doctor to ask if you're nervous, but as long as you're not REALLY sick you should be fine. just keep an eye on your fever, and if you fee like you have a tonsil infection you'll need antibiotics...hang in there :)
