Hey there!  Dont panic.  Wait a few more weeks and get another ultrasound.  I have read stories about this same situation and later on, a baby was found "hiding."  dont give up hope.  Keep going with your pregnancy.  Watch what you eat, get rest, take your vitamins etc... I wish you the very best!!!!!

this is really important. as rmp39 said you are not, this is not true for everyone. when i was 6 weeks i had an empty sac but i was told this is normal. every pregnancy is different. some people can see a heartbeat, others see just the baby with no heartbeat and people like us just see the sac. i was frightened of having a blighted ovum, as everyone else seen their babies. i went for another scan at 7 and a half weeks and seen my profile picture. also, having a tilted womb can make it harder to see baby. do not think "this is the end", hold in there, you should have another scan offered in about a week and a half's time. during week 7 baby almost doubles in size. doctors cannot diagnose a blighted ovum until after 8 weeks. By 8 weeks you should see something but im not sure how that works with a tilted womb. good luck x

Due to your levels, it's clearly a pregnancy. Now whether it's viable is something else completely. If you have a tilted uterus it can make it more difficult to find the child. Also, you could be earlier than you think, making it more difficult to see anything. Wait a few weeks and go back in for another ultrasound.

Sorry hun, it doesn't seem like you are... if the sac is empty then there is no baby inside.
