I'm also puzzled about why they would be measuring her hCG at this late point.  hGC levels vary during the day, let alone over the weeks of pregnancy, it seems like a waste of time to be measuring them now.

Exactly, don't worry because those babies would be perfectly fine if they came out now at 39 weeks. Our OB doesn't test the hcg level after the first trimester

Congrats to her for making it to 39 weeks with twins!! Shes so close that if anything were to happen they can induce her or perform an emergency c-section and those babies would more than likely be as healthy as can be (:

If your daughter is 39 weeks, I doubt a drop in Hcg is a big deal. It might just be a change in hormones getting her ready to go into labor. :) I didn't know they still measured Hcg so close to the due date lol
