but i m getting attacks frequently of Ulcer colities
Oh, rememba that you want to wait until your in remission to conceive cus if you dnt your most likely gonna be in a flare throughout your pregnancy and after and that's not really safe for tha baby.
Hay! I have ulcerative colitis & I once did a post on here abt it. Anyway, since I've been pregnant I haven't had any complications with it and I actually feel better too. I'm blessed to be able to control mines with meds but as of now I'm off of my meds and will only take them as needed. I conceived 2 yrs after being diagnosed and like rachelc88 I wasn't even trying cus I thought I couldn't. I'll soon be 25wks with a little girl!
Also I wasn't even trying for a baby, it just happened. So I had no problems. Hope that helps
Hi. I suffer from crohns disease and after a major bowel operation I thought I would never have a child. Anyway I'm now 37 weeks pregnant with a massive healthy boy. I was worried as I was on major medications for it, but since I've been pregnant my crohns has calmed down, and I've even been taken Off my meds, so it won't effect the baby, and I've been fine. All the aide effects from having a bowel disease and how it can affect The baby hasn't happened for me, and I have been very lucky as I feel better now then I have done in years. Good luck
