If you're taking your vitamins on an empty stomach that's more than likely why you are getting nauseous but if not then I would talk to your doctor about what he or she recommends..I know people have their own opinion about prenatals but I think they are important to take during pregnancy regardless if u eat healthy or not..in my opinion if they weren't that important to take and you could do without ur doctor wouldn't recommend them. .good luck
It's very important to take them. Gummies are usually easier on you.
Never took prenatal vitamins with my first baby and everything went as perfect as it could. Haven't taken any this pregnancy, 19 weeks and so far so good.
I had horrible morning sickness from weeks 6-12 & dreaded taking the prental. Im now 14 weeks & unless im extremely full when i take it i still get very nauseous. I try taking it at night right after dinner. When i first found out i took gummy prentals & couldnt even stand to chew them. I take one a day prental pills now & there much better, in my opinion. You should talk to your doctor though, it could be the amount of iron in take that is making you so nauseous. Hope it gets better soon!
I'll say at high before bed
Eat before you take them, I always have and never had a problem. Try some peppermint mints to soothe your tummy or heartburn if you get it.
You could talk to your doctor about how the make you sick to you stomach and they may be able to give you something to help. But with my prenatals I've noticed that if I take them WHILE I'm eating I won't through them back up. But I also take them mid day unless I forget about them. But I don't feel sick if I'm eating when I take them.
I'm 10w and 5days an I still get nauseous after takin my prenatal vitamin so idkayy try talkin to ur doctor at ur next appointment to see if they can change them that's what I had to do ! But congratulations
Some doctors have recommended children flintstone vitamins to be just as healthy and effective
Thank you guys! Ive been taking them at night for the last few days and get so nauseous so I'm going to try to take them during the day instead.
I take mine right before bed since I've had morning sickness since week 7....and now I'm 26 weeks with it still. :/
I only said *****, I don't know why that was blurred. Lol
You are not the first to complain about prenatal vitamins causing nausea. Lots of women have this issue and many just stop taking them. As long as you have a healthy diet you and baby will be just fine without them.
It ***** taking them but yes they are very important to take during pregnancy. I usually take then in the middle of the day after I eat.
Yes they are important try taking the gummies
