How hard is it for those of you that have a puppy and a new born? I'm 38 weeks and really thinking about getting a puppy.

I would wait on a puppy. Have a puppy and a newborn at the same time is like having twins. Plus puppies don't listen to well and I would be worried about the puppy hurting the baby.i would wait till your newborn is at least crawling. My sis had her baby only a week after getting a puppy and if it's not the puppy crying then it's the baby. A newborn is enough work on its own.

I have a 3 month old pit and she frustrates me because she doesn't listen to me, I'm trying to potty train her, and I get extremely frustrated easily being pregnant. I'm 22 weeks, but honestly she is just like my other baby I wouldn't trade her for anything!

Oh yeah it's hard, i have a 8 month old doberman puppy and he's a rough lil boy is strong sometimes wants to pull me down the stairs. He gets fustrating because he doesn't listen all the time. Definitely like a child lol but i wouldn't trade him for anything he's my other baby(: I'm just nervous for when my son gets here because he can be rough at times..

Plus, that's a lot of money too, vet bills, shots, food, toys, bedding,  and then lots of time and attention with training.  Plus picking up after the dog...it's like having another baby.
