Question for August/September Mommies

What size clothes is your baby wearing and how much do they weigh?  What was their birth weight and how old are they?

Lily will be 5 weeks old tomorrow.  She was 7 lbs 2 oz 19 1/4" at birth. She left the hospital at 6 lbs 15 oz.   At her last weight check on 10/5 she was 8 lbs 12 oz.  She's still wearing newborn size clothes, but even most of those are too big for her.  I've had to take most of the newborn size pants and take them in some in the waist so they don't fall off of her.  I'm just curious how everyone elses babies are growing/gaining weight.

Well I dont qualify since Janie was born 7/30...but, hey its only 2 days off lol  she weighed 7.11 and was 19.5inches long...she had her 2 month check up 2 days ago, but we had to go today so she weighed 11.6 and was 22.75 long..she still wears 0-3, most 3-6 just falls off, and she is still in size one diapers...she is very petite...newborns are too short in length but fit the rest of her..and I know the feeling about all the cute outfits and this weather having a mind of its own

Anna was 8lb 6oz at birth and  21 1/4" long. She fit some newborn stuff but alot of the sleepers were too short for her, so she wore 3 month size in those.

She's 4 weeks now, but at her 3 week measurement she was 8 lbs 13 oz, she fits mostly 0-3 months, and some 3-6 months sleepers, they're baggy on her but fit good lengthwise :P

Kaelynn was 6.12 at birth and 6.2 when we went home. 20" long. She was 8lbs 21.75 at her 4wk apt.  
She wore NB sleepers till 4.5 weeks they are to short now for her. The 0-3 month are to long and really big around waist. She still fits in NB onesies at 6 weeks old.

I just moved her to size 1 diapers at 5 weeks old.

I have a ton of clothes she will never get to wear because it's to cold out and she's out grown them.

Thanks guys.  I was just curious where everyone was at.  It's really annoying that either the weather isn't cooperating for some of the outfits I have or they don't fit her right.  Mostly the pants are too big like I said.  Length-wise newborn size fits her.  I have a couple of newborn size things that look more like a 3-6 mos size.  I wish manufacturers would come to a general consensus on the measurements for baby clothes.  

Lily pretty much lives in sleepers the first few weeks becuase they were the only things I had that fit her.  She isn't gonna get to wear atleast half of the newborn and probably 0-3 mos stuff I have for her.  Most of it's brand new without the tags so that really *****.  The weather here is normally still really warm in the mornings, but its been getting down to the 40's and 50's at night so that lets out the summer rompers and shorts outfits.  Oh well!

Kylie is 5 weeks and was 6 pounds 12 ounces at birth. At her one month checkup she was 8 pounds 4 ounces. She still uses newborn clothes and sometimes preemie things. Almost all the newborn things are too big though length wise. She's still 20 inches long.

My son Tristan is 3 mos today and he's just now moving up into the 3-6 mos clothes. He was in preemie clothes at birth for about the first 2-3 weeks (he weighed 5 lbs 14ozs), then he was able to wear newborn clothes up until he was about 2 mos old, then 0-3. He can still wear 0-3 but he's getting on the big side for them. In some brands, even the 3 mos clothing can be big for him. 3-6 mos is a bit big for him.  He kinda swims in them. He's in between sizes. I hate this inbetween sizes. He's now about 15-16 lbs.

lily is 4.5 weeks. she was 7 12oz at birth and 7 10oz when we left the hospital. she is 10.5lb now. she is in all 0-3 and was only in 2 of her newborn outfits! shes also in size 1 diapers.  she was 20 inchs at birth i dont know what she is now.

I don't qualify at all since Elijah turned two in July, and this one's not due for 8 weeks today (YAY 8 weeks left!!!). BUT...I can tell you that Elijah fit a lot of newborn/0-3 month clothes for the first few months, even at 6 months he could fit some 0-3 month. I think it depends on the brands too...Carters always ran about right/a little small and Gerber was always BIG on Elijah. He was a long skinny boy. 7.10 lbs and 21 inches at birth, at 2 months 10 lbs and 24 inches. He's always been above 90-95% for height and above 50% for weight, but was never a fat baby...always skinny. He even wore newborn diapers for the first two months! Now at two years 3 months, he's about 32 lbs and 37 inches tall, and can't fit anything smaller than 3T.

Lily sounds like she's growing right on track. I don't know if you are, but I wouldn't be worried...more like annoyed. I hated not finding clothes for Elijah, they were either too short or too fat for him.

Desirae is now 6 1/2 weeks. She was born weighing 7 1/2 lbs. She now weighs 10 1/2 lbs. She is wearing 0to3 month clothes and is in a size 1 diaper.

I know I don't qualify but Kahlan was a september baby and she wore newborns for a month and a half, and actually fit into the preemie sizes for about a week even though she was 7lbs 6oz and 19.5 inches....I think she was about 9+lbs at her 6 wk check-up....and Grey (july) wore newborn sizes for about a week and then he was in 0-3 and he can fit in some 3-6 months now at 3months...3 months today actually wow. anyway he didn't have a 6wk check up since he was in so much the first few weeks for his jaundice, but at his 8wk he was 11 1/2lbs...if that helps any, lol. \

both of my kids didn't start fitting pants around the waist until closer to 6 months because they both had big old bellies but teeny tiny hip/waist areas.

Taylor was an August baby. She weighed 7 lbs 6 ozs and was 20 inches long at birth. She was into the newborn size forever but then just sprouted! Im sorry I cant remember the sizes at what ages/months:~( She is now 14 months old weighing somewhere around 20 lbs and in size 12 months still. Some 18 months fit her. She was tall for her age for the first year but seems to have stopped growing, lol! So now the only pant that will fit her are the 12 month size.
I do remember the sizes running a bit big on her in the begining.
Newborn size, isnt that up to 8 lbs?? I never believed that cause all my kids wore them untill they were well over 8 lbs.

emilee is wearing 0-3 months.....she is around 9 lbs right now (8lbs 11 oz on oct 6 so im sure she's over 9 by now)
