Rash

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced a rash that starts on their belly and travels up. I was in the doctors office for it and also the hospital for heart problems and they said they don't know what it is. The nurse said it could be a heat rash, I live in Michigan how in the world could I have a heat rash at this time of year? Also, it's getting worse as the days go by it's been a week since I've seen a doctor and they said it would go away when I called yesterday. I'm kind of worried, since I'm so miserable I can't handle it anymore.. and where the rash is my skins pealing it's terrible. If anyone knows what could be wrong please let me know.

p.s I'm 24 weeks and 3 days, so I don't know if that would have anything to do with the results of it what it could be.

When I was in the hospital the nurse said it may be pupps, but they all thought it was a heat rash. It does burn especially when I shower or put anything on it. It is extremely itchy, It's not really a pattern of any sort it's like red blotches all over my stomach and chest and it's going over my shoulders now it's terrible feeling. The blotches are also very dry,  I asked the doctor if she thought it could be shingles and she said she doesn't think so.

With my son I had a thrush like rash on the inner thighs and used a quarterzone cream. With my daughter I had shingles and just had to wait it out. There was a cream at the chemist that helped a bit but lucky for me it was a minor case. Good luck

Does it burn or itch?? What does it look like? Look up shingles or Herpes zoster...if it's anything like that you need to go back to the doctors asap so they can possibly give you treatment for it. You need treatment within 72 hrs of noticing it in order to treat it...if not you have to wait it out and deal with it until it just disappears. This is only if it's shingles...and no you wouldn't be too young to get it.
If not then I'm not sure. Hope it gets better soon.

Im a going to throw a few ideas out:

Rash during pregnancy can sometimes be a sign of kidney or liver problems.  Has that been ruled out?

Has PUPPS been considered?

Have you ever had chicken pox?  Is it possible this might be shingles (any pattern to it the rash)?

Certainly, if it doesnt get better within a few days go back to the doctor.  You can always ask to be referred to another doctor (possibly a dermatologist) if your own doctor cant diagnose it.
