Good luck, hope everything works out!! Congrats on the new baby! :)
Ohhh what is up with these grown up man playing little kids game and missing out out his girl? Grow up! Anyways girl ur right he needs ro take care of you and hes responsibility!
Hey Lady's
Im due to have the baby this thursday, so yea I think i'll talk to him bout it after i have my baby as i don't want to lose him, i need hes support, Hes not bad to the point were he leaves meal dish's on the computer table, but he has never washed hes son or bathed him.
Well i will deal with this once baby arrives in a few days
I should also mention that I met my current husband shortly after I got my own place and he has been the most wonderful father figure and husband! There are great men out there!
I have an EX husband that was that way. He was always playing games and it drove me nuts. He even had trash collect on his desk from all the meals spent there. It even turns out that he had an affair while I was pregnant the first time with someone he met online through everquest! So long buddy! I put up with it for far too long, but when I was good and ready I left him with a 23 month old and 4 month old. It can be done. I say tell him how you feel frankly and then he can decide on ponying up or not.
Amykims has a good idea, Personally I wouldnt get rid of the pc but Internet is negotiable lol I'm a pic person & I like to write so I'd have a hard time letting go of all the xtra perks that come with a pc aside from Internet! But regardless some thing has to give & unfortunately it's sounding like he is either gonna have to compromise so he has time to help out more OR you r goin to have to decide if that's something you r willing to deal with if he continues to refuse a compromise! I know love makes us do crazy things so if you chose to just tolerate it make sure you are prepared for it! I personally think it's goin to b stressful trying to maintain 2 kids (1a newborn), all the housework, shopping, ect. All while the father is there doing nothing but playing games! I would get very tired of that, maybe not at 1st but eventually!!
Hi,
Well i must say my fiance isnt as bad as yours lol but he seems TOTALLY addicted to the stupid game Black Ops on the ps3, he does work so im not too bothered on that front but it did get to the point i was sat on my own downstairs and he was upstairs!
Why not try to get him involved with your little one like bathing, play time, tea time ect maybe you can fill the time up a little better then at night maybe suggests he goes on it for an hr. Im not trying to justify what hes doing but maybe hes a little down he cant get a job and bored so this is the only thing that fills his time is this game but theres loads of things you can do like i said before with your little one or maybe suggest a night where you bathe the baby, both read him a story, then time for you two to sort through your new baby things and prepare your birthing bag, him give your feet or back a rub...((just an idea)) so that way your not getting into a row but your filling time in other ways....
sell your computer, and go to a cyber cafe once a week and make it a family outing, maybe that would work, and maybe go see a dr.
all the best
Hey yea i know, i use to play the same game as he is, but once my little boy started doing more things, i completly stop, i now only use it to talk to my bf. I don't want to lose him ive been with him for 5 years, but i just dont have a clue on how to get him away from the gaming, even just cutting back, but when i talk to him bout it, just turns into an arguement and he starts saying im controlling =(.
Thinking about it, tears me to peices
Plz plz excuse my blunt reply, but hell no!!! U need his attention & support & so do the kids! If video games r more important then he's not worth keeping around! I'm a gamer as well but my kids & boyfriend come b4 any game! U don't need the added stress from being upset at him ovr games on top of all that comes with having a new baby! Hope things get better for u soon!!! Good luck!
