And try not to eat to much salt (it makes you retain fluids and can increase swelling) or sugar (increases inflammation).
Definitely talk to your Dr., but I've had this with all my pregnancies and it was not a risk factor for the baby. When I slept with braces on my hands/wrists at night, it helped with the pain a lot. Also sleeping with my hands elevated slightly above my heart helped. Also, if your bra fits too tightly under your armpit, it can make things worse, especially if you sleep with it on. Also, drink lots of water.
Doc called and said all I can do is get those arm braces :( ughh ***** that nothing will help my hands! "(
just check on the swelling. if it won't go down i would go to the er. i hope you feel better momma keep us updated. i just hope it is circulation problem. baby needs to stay in just a bit longer lol
Ohh I sure hope not :( it's to soon for her to come and I wouldn't want to get induced or have a c section either. Hopefully they can keep in her
Calm down wait to hear back...could also just be a circulation issue...my hands felt like that for literally the last month i just have to wear a wrist brace to sleep
umm im not sure. but the doctor gave me a paper at my last appointment and when your hands get swollen your suppose to see a doctor or go to the er. they might be able to stop it so you won't have to have her early. i would go to the er if the swelling won't go down.
I just called they said they will notify my doc I hope I get a call back soon. Does that mean ill need to have her early?
sounds like it could be preclampsia please call your doctor and tell him whats going on. swollen numb hands isn't good at all. i hope you feel better mama!
