Savannah Rose!! Labor story

7lbs 6oz 20in long!! I was suppose to be due yesterday but I was having contractions on 9/27 when I was at work (I had an 8 hour shift). I tried counting them but they were so off the wall and more than half the time I wasn't sure if it was her that was moving or a contraction or both.

I made it through my shift and started counting at home. I called a co-worker and my mom and they said to call hospital anyway. Between 10-11pm it into a room but nurses/docs said that I wasn't progressing or falling back on labor so they sent me home.

By midnight/12:30 went to bed and woke up 1hour 1/2 later with bad back labor and contractions. My water broke at like 2:15. I was in actual labor for almost 2 hours and had 3-4 pushes. I almost didn't have the epidural because she was coming so fast and I kept feeling the urges to push.

My daughter Savannah Rose came out at 4:15am on 9/28. Was due 10/2.

Thanks!! I'm sure who's ever working until almost deliveries are amazing!!! First time me trying it...otherwise when I was pregnant with my son my work took me off the schedule.

Congrats love the name was on my list Rosie Mae is her grandma name so it was was between rose and Mae for middle  name and dad name Sidney so thought of Savannah or Saniah  for first you are a trooper  working through all that

Thanks!! I was suppose to be done working on Wednesday but I held out as long as I could. The contractions wernt extremely painful until well into the night. I will be upping to a managers position.

Oh yes !  Love the name.   That really is beautiful.  And wow mama, hats off to you for finishing your shift before giving birth!  What a trooper.  You deserve a raise!!  Enjoy your little one hon.
