Well she said I wasn't going to have a biopsy she was just going to look does it still hurt without the biopsy?
I had a colposcopy in April, it was extremely painful and I cried during the biopsies. Usually they don't like to take biopsies during pregnancy but o bad an extreme case and they had no choice. Also, the "stuff" they put inside me after to stop the bleeding felt like a tampon made out of concrete and took over a week to pass it. I was very uncomfortable for like 2 weeks. Good luck and I hope I didn't scare you to much, it's very unpleasant.
I can't wait to get it over with !! :/ & thanksss
Ohhhh im sry. I havent had one of those but Ive heard they arent too bad, just more nerve racking than anythjng. Its similiar to getting another pap smear. They insert the speculum that opens ur vagina and doc will look closer with a camera/microscope binoculars. If they see abnormal tisdue, theyll propably take a biopsy to test the tissue further. I wish u the best and sry i couldnt share an experience of my own. Good luck to you. Take care
No it's colposcopy not colonoscopy and bc my Pap smear came back abnormal and have HPV my doctor said she needs to use a microscope wit a light somethin like that to look at my cervix closer my cells are abnormal
Your getting a colonoscopy? If thats what ur having done, Ive had 3 colonoscopies total just not during pregnancy. I was put under so didnt feel anything. The prep for it was very nasty though lol. Ur going to be awake? Whats the rsason?
