Second trimester

I thought when you get into the second trimester, your energy begins to return and you feel better. I'm so tired lately it's just as bad as the first trimester. I'm 15 weeks and I am still getting naseous time to time. I am so exhausted. Does anyone feel like this?

There are no rules when it comes to pregnancy and how your body take it... everyone is different and you are just starting your second trimester, its possible that you may feel tired the whole pregnancy and its possible that you may start getting your energy back in the next couple weeks or so... i an 22 weeks and am still  dependant on my anitnausea meds to cope threw the day... but as a guideline what you read or learn about whats happening as far as baby is involved(developing) is pretty accurate as far as what you read for how you "should" be feeling or what could be happening is strickly a guideline more or less.... never a guarantee.... every woman is different :)

Congrats on your pregnancy! good luck and i hope it gets better! :)

Energy? what's that? I don't remember having energy in my 2nd pregnancy, or this one...but I DID have it briefly during my first pregnancy in the 3rd trimester...I started getting antsy at about 35 weeks and didn't sit still or stop walking and swimming until I delivered at 40wks, lol.

It just depends on your body, but HOPEFULLY you'll get a break in the 2nd tri..I never have, but I have some friends who did :-).

Also I DID stop vomiting 2nd trimester with my 1st...and briefly during the 2nd trimester with my 2nd, although it came back in the 3rd with #2...but with this pregnancy I've been sick the whole time..again, it just seems to depend.

I didn't ever really feel symptom-free or anything, but the fatigue did lighten up around week 17 or 18. Lasted until week 25, so maybe you'll still get a little break.
