Sex

Has anyone had see when the doctor told you not to and something bad happened? Im asking because I am high risk and I have a cerclage in. I was so ho*** that it slipped my mind that I wasnt allowed to and I ended up stopping in the middle of it because I had just remember and I had called my doctor immediately. She told me to take it easy until I came to see her on Thursday. Well im asking this because starting today I started getting alot of mucus and I had sex Saturday. Its not discharge its my mucus plug my doctor told me how to tell the difference. Is it true that you can lose pieces of your mucus plug through out your pregnancy?

Yes , you don't always lose it at one shot in came be lost over a few days or all at once . I would just take it easy rest relax as much as you can , and if you start to worry or get any bleeding or abdominal cramping call your doctor . Congrats :)

you shouldn't start to lose your mucous plug before 37 weeks - they recommend that you tell your midwife if its lost before then. x
