My labor story. :)
It started on the 28th when I went yo the doctor at 9:15. I was 2 days overdue and scheduled to be induced the next morning. I was dilated to a 2 and about 50% efaced. My doc stripped my membranes and told me to arrive at l&d at 6:30 the next morning. Well stripping my membranes worked. At first I had some cramping and by noon it had become contractions and they were about every 15 minutes. I knew baby was coming this day so I spent as much time with my 2 year old as possible (including naptime) By the time we got up my contractions were about every 10 minutes and getting stronger. By 7:30 they were every 5 minutes so I took my daughter to her sitter and went in I was afraid I was just going to get sent home but it hurt so bad something had to be going on. And I was right. I was at a 4 and 60% efaced. They took me to a room and we aited. Around 11:30 they checked again and no change. They kept telling me the contractions were strong enough just not close enough together. After an hour they checked again and I was at almost 8 and 80% I got my epidural and it kinda helped. Babys heart rate dropped. I was so scared. My heart rate was faster than hers. They put me on oxygen and broke my water so they could use the internal heart moniter. Contractions were so bad by this point and the epidural wasn't working on my left side at all. My next few contractions I pushed even tho I wasn't supposed to. I tried not to but couldn't help it. Then I wasassupposed to. My little girl came out in 2 pushes! Her cord was wrapped around her neck and she wad blue She was born July 29 at 4:43 am. She weighed 7 lbs 15.5 oz and was 19 and a half inches long. It was a terrifying beautiful and crazy experience. And it was how my little girl came into this world. We are both happy bad healthy

Congrats! So nice you got to have her vaginally! I wasn't as lucky but at least now my boy is here safe and sound :)
