Should i worry about miscarriage

Im about 6 weeks along. I have light spotting of bright red blood but other times is just brown watery discharge with somewhat a bad odor. This has happened about twice a week since i found out, what scares me is the clot that came out as big as my thumb. The pain was unbearable it lasted 4 hours. Should i be worried or is it normal.

Eeek when pregnant and in "unbearable" pain thats a sign. You should call your doctor, it kind of sounds like a miscarriage. I had clots when I had mine and being that you said the pain was unbearable and lasted for 4 hours. When I had my miscarriage I wasn't in pain and it wasn't dramatic, I just bled a lot and huge blood clots came out. I didn't even know I was having a miscarriage until I went to the hospital because I was bleeding for 9 days

If it seems like a period you should see a doctor and if the pain is unbearble. It could be a miscarriage , but you will never know until you see a doctor. So instead of taking a chance and not knowing you should go, for yours and your baby's health.

Anytime you have bleeding of bright red or clots you should be worried.  You need to go to the hospital.  Most miscarriages happen before the 12 week mark.  When I had my miscarriage last year I had bright red blood, and then clots came next.  And yes, the pain in unbearable and aweful.  Please for your sake go to the hospital, no one can tell you for sure on here.  If you are or aren't you need to find out, I never had my miscarriage varified and I don't I am still kind of in denial, even though I am 12 weeks and 1 day with a so far healthy baby now.  Good luck and keep us updated dear.
