Thanks. His mum is a constant worrier and is freakin out. I said not to be getting into a flap about it until I spoke to midwife as I may have been around her before symptoms even started to appear. She wqs for arranging us somewhere else to stay and everything. I know its more the first 20 wks that poses more of a threat but I'm near the end of my third trimester.
Most adults have some immunity to it. We had a really bad year for viruses, flu, stomach flu, slapped cheek, shingles, and colds. I got slapped cheek with them and it was awful but baby is fine. The dr sent me in for ultrasound but everything was OK. I wouldn't worry.
