I'm so sorry about your loss, yeah that does make the worrying worse. I lost my first as well, but a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks and I found out at my 12 week ultrasound. Have you spoken with your doctor or midwife about the 2 vessel umbilical cord? They will be able to help ease your mind and explain it better to you.

If they don't seem concerned chances are it not a problem :) I was really worried about it (Google made it worse lol) but my doctor said Bub was getting everything he needed from the 2 and not to worry. I found out at 18 weeks. Is this your first?

I had a 2 vessel umbilical cord with my first baby, wasn't a problem. He was born 41+2 weeks and is now nearly 14 months old :) Speak to your Doctor about it when you next see them. They will be able to tell you more about it. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you and your baby boy!
