I read somewhere that sleeping on a harder surface could help you sleep better and IT WORKED. I got more sleep on my floor than I have on my bed in the past month. I still wake up during the night but it's definitely not as bad as when I sleep on the bed. I will wake up and actually be able to fall back asleep within a few minutes. YAY :D
I've had this problem since I hit about 24 weeks. It *****. I think I have had 1 good night sleep since then and I will be 32 weeks tomorrow. I can't find a comfortable position at all, if I lay on side (either one) my leg will go numb and if I lay on my back, even if I am slightly propped up, I get terrible heartburn. I've been on google trying to search for safe sleeping techniques for pregnant women, but almost all of them are for medicine :(
I think most pregnant women have this proble. The only thing tht really helped me w my last ans current pregnancy is a big body pillow. I honestly don't even c how I made it through my first pregnancy without it. Helps me sleep and relax much better. If u haven't tried tht already I wld def recommend it.:))
I wish i could give u some advice :-( ive been having this problem since 16 weeks. Im so exhausted but so uncomfortable that i just can't even sleep. Your alnost done, even if ur not sleeping try and at least rest and relax. Make sure ur not taking ur prenatals at night it can cause you to be up, try walking in the day to help relax ur muscles, try a warm bath before bed, maybe sleepy time tea. All just suggestions none have worked for me though. Good luck hun. At least when ur baby arives the little bit of sleep youll get will be comfy :-) and wont be long until she's sleeping through the night! It goes by fast
I am 30 weeks and just now having a terrible time as well
That's how I am. I can only sleep halfway on my right side halfway on my belly. I hate it.
