So confused - 7DPO

Im really confused, im not sure whether i am pg, home tests say neg.. Iv had spotting for a few days now and today i noticed big drop of dark brown mucus and when i wiped pinky/reddy blood, but nothing more (sorry tmi).. what is this? Is this a period or spotting?? iv had nothing since and no cramping today, although i had cramping bad over the weekend with pinky spotting.. Also my cervix is low, extremely soft, wet and quite open.. what does this mean?? Any info id appreciate :) thanks

Unless you frequently check your cervix it's hard to say what is normal for you. Every womens is different, and many pregnant women don't examine their own. (you're not supposed to due to risk of introducing infection) you said you've been spotting for days, so I highly doubt it's implantation bleeding. It's still too early for many symptoms, and is too early to test. Wait a few days and retest with first morning urine.

Ah ok, thanks for your input..Congrats on your baby!!!!.... I kinda thought i was having a period tday but nothing more now and no cramping at all! Just wondering if my period was starting, surely my cervix would be closing and hardening? but obviously its not..

If your 7 DPO it would be too soon to show up on a HPT.  It could be implantation bleeding, wait until 14 DPO and retest.  good luck.   I can't help with the cervix questions I never checked mine.
