Also at most of my appointments I'd gain 4-5 pounds/month but then once I gained almost 10 pounds in one month! But the next month it went back down to about 4.5 lb gain. Some months you just gain more than others. No big deal :) I know you probably feel like a whale, I do, but people still tell me I'm small lol which is nice. Even if they're lying!

No thats completely normal. I am 34 weeks and weigh 165 i have gained 35 pounds through out my pregnancy.  This is my first and I thought the same thing but my obgyn said I am perfectly healthy and so is the baby.  I was malnourished before getting pregnant and actually needed to put on a few pounds. Im not sure how tall you are but I am 57 and come to find out 145-165 is average for a woman my height so I dont feel as bad anymore. Most is water weight. Just eat healthy and excersise as much as you can these last few weeks of your pregnancy.  It will help when the time to deliver comes. Ive been doing lots of walking recently and I feel much more energy throughout the day. Little breaks in between putting your feet up is always good.  Wish you luck hun !

How much have you gained so far. And it doesn't always mean a big baby my sister gained 65lbs her baby was 8lb. But you have to take in the amount of fluid around the baby and in your skin, extra blood and placenta. It all adds up :)
