Well... I tested this morning and....

Ok so I woke up early this morning before work and took the biggest hardest test of my life! Much to my surprise, it was a big fat ugly NEGATIVE!!!! I'm so sad! I was so sure I was pregnant! All the symptoms and the fact that my body is going crazy... I was just positive I would get a positive! I guess this is just venting rather than a question!
But the bad part about all of this is that my cycles have been SO irregular that I don't even know when I ovulated or if I ovulated at all! I guess I will just have to break down and buy a OPK! I really don't want to because their so expensive (17.99 @ walgreens, and that was the cheap one, LOL)  but I don't know how else I can tell! None of the other methods work for me! Anyone know where I can get a cheap/reliable OPK? Thanks for you help

*** Oh yeah, another thing I was pondering... Is it possible to ovulate while you have AF? I know this is a strange question, but since my AF came 2 weeks apart, I assume i ovulated right before or during AF! Is that possible? I never saw the EWCM or anything stretchy except for during my AF! It was kind of stretchy (sorry TMI) but thats the only thing I can think of!

I don't know all the abrv. so I am not sure what an OPK is, but I used a home ovulation kit (baught it at HEB for like $10). My periods are never regular so I never know when I am ovulating. My doc always just said to take the test on day 14 of my cycle. I did that and the lines weren't as dark as the test said they should be, but we tried anyway. I did that two times, the second time I went to have an IUI though (it worked). I have irregular periods because I have PCOS.

I've read that it (decidual bleeding) can affect the accuracy of an hpt as well.. I'm not having much luck finding anyone that has Actually experienced decidual bleeding while pregnancy 1st hand though.

Im gald to see that there are women out there that  ovulate close to their period! Maybe thats why I keep missing my chance! I think im still going to buy a OPK since my cycles have been so unpredictable! Right now, Im having creamy, very wet CM so I dont know if I am going to ovulate soon, or if I already did since AF just left! Im so confused, Im a wreck! Hopefully these OPK's will give me some relief!
Also, has anyone ever heard of or experienced decidual bleeding? I read a little info on it and it sound similar to the bleeding or "period" (whatever it was!!!) I just had. Does it that type of bleeding affect your HPT? It says your horomones are out of whack and it causes you to shed parts of your uterus but I am wondering if that might affect the results of a urine test??? Just a thought!

yes i beleive its possible i OV the day following my period and i beleive sometimes i OV right on the last day of my period. so i think anything is possible.

I got pregnant at the end of my period, and people are always saying that isnt possible..

I am living proof that it IS possible! =)
