I am pregnant with my 2nd child and i'm not even 8 weeks yet and all my family says that i have a belly? Could it be possible that i am showing already? With my first i didn't show almost until my 6th month? Any advice ladies?

I was showing at 9 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. I am now 17 weeks preggo w/twins. Anyways I was wondering if its normal to gain weight in areas other than the belly. My cousin had a baby a year ago (of course she weighs like 100lbs now) but she had gained quite a bit of weight during her pregnancy, when i asked her about it she said she only gained in her belly. Sad for me then since i've gained in the boobs, butt and legs and all over really...is this normal? I've gotten sooo much bigger in these areas i'm worried. My belly of course grows too, I eat a healthy diet.

Usually you show early the 2nd time around. I'm 13 weeks, and already look preggo. With my first i didn't really show until late in my 5th month. As long as you have a balanced diet, and you are taking care of yourself chances are that you have a belly already. Enjoy it!!!
Defidently get bigger clothesor maturnity pants so you can be comfortable.

i was wondering if you show sooner the second time around, or if it's more because you don't feel like sucking it is anymore :P
nah- in all seriousness, i think it's because the muscles have been stretched out once before. if i don't suck it in, i can look like i have a 3 or 4 month belly.

I agree that it might be bloating rather than 'showing' from the uterus etc.

I agree with Joy...buy maternity pants and be comfy!

There's nothing you can really do except buy maternity pants.  Bloating is common in pregnancy. Congrats!
