Spotting during pregnancy

Hi, I am a mother of two and expecting. I wondered if any one else has been through my situation and can help me out. In July I had removed my IUD merina which is a birthcontrol implanted inside. My fiance and I are trying to have kids. On September 11th I found out I was almost 3 weeks pregnant (hcg level 99.5). Then on the 14th I started spoting bright red blood. I thought I was having a miscarriage because I would fill up a panty liner, but my sister said that usually if you have a miscarriage you fill up a whole pad that it's more than a period. So I kept my hopes up thinking that it's just that the baby is positioning itself on the lining of the uterus. Four days later I stopped spoting. I did though notice that I had a little discomfort on my abdominal area more like on the right side around the time I found out i was pregnant. It has continue and still is. Just 3 days ago I experience spotting and the blood was brown. I am so scared because I don't know if I miscarried. I went to the obgyn and they did a vaginal uls and said they didn't see a sack. They did a blood work to see if my hormones level either increased or decreased inwhich I have to wait two days in order to take another blood test. I hate waiting...I am so worried.  But i'm more or less like late 4 weeks or early 5 weeks pregnant. Isn't that to early to see the baby or sac on the uls? Can it be an eptomic pregnancy? If I had a miscarraige, I didn't feel severe pain or bleed so much. And I read all the discomfort and pain should go away. So I wonder why do i feel something is still there? Sorry this is so much but if any one can relate to this or know about this please let me know. Thank you.

I would say that 4-5 weeks is too early to see anything. I know the waiting is terrible, but the only way they can tell is to wait for the blood tests to come back with your HCG levels. Never give up hope and try to stay positive until the test come back. :)

4-5 weeks is too early.
Give it another week or two and you'll be able to see something.

would it be still to early to see the sac? The doctor said he should've been able to see that.
