just venting

So this week I have had a cold and its no fun at all! It's making me ten times more tired and work has been stressful this week. One major ick factor is that I decided to not take any cold medicine because I'm a ftm and I'm paranoid its going to hurt my little one. Second ick factor is that at my work we are short staffed so my boss gets kinda upset if we call out sick cuz it makes it harder for everyone else.the last ick factor is that trying to sleep at night is getting sooo difficult I wake up at least for or five times to go to the bathroom and it takes forever to go back to sleep... so here i am at 30 weeks wanting to feel better and it feels impossible :/ any one have any suggestions on what I could do?

I hear ya. The last time I was sick was in November,  so I'm keeping my fingers crossed lol. I hope you feel better! Just rest as much as possible!

I was in the same boat as you around 16 weeks. I used vicks vapor rub on my chest,  a humidifier at night,  took cough drops and used saline nasal spray. I was sick for a good 3 weeks. Oh I also kept a cool damp rag on my forehead. Everything made me less miserable. Keep yourself extremely hydrated and drink orange juice.  I hope this helps!
