I have had two blood test done in one week to test my hcg levels the one i had on 1/14 was art 3839 how far along would i be an why does my obgyn want me to have another one

Thanks ladies my levels on my last test are at 11,000 already so my doctors says there rising l

The best way to know how far along you are is by your lmp or an ultrasound. Hcg levels are not the way to figure out how far along one is. Your doctor orded another one because they look at whether or not those numbers double or not within the time between the two tests. I hope my answer helps...

Your OBGYN probably wants you to take another to make sure your levels are rising like they should...and as for how far you are the number really varies...thats why they usually go from your lmp
