Okay itching doesn't cause stretch marks lol. Try not to itch cause it causes skin breakage on dry skin. Moisturize and drink plenty of water helps hydrate your skin. The strech marks are genetic and come from your skin stretching hence stretch marks. So of skin has great elasticity you wont have a ton or any. I have a few from first baby none so far with second goos luck. Just rub..
Sorry to write so much :P
In short, the stretch marks will come if they want to but scratching it will make it a whole lot worse.
It does! Random Walmart employee told me itching caused stretch marks when she saw me itching and I decided not to just in case. I have been religiously applying lotion/cream/tummy butter too and i couldn't tell if my skin just looked weird or what. One day I was trying to sleep and my skin was so itchy, I got mad and scratched. It was only lightly but sure enough, that night I went to put on lotion and it looked like stretch marks were all over! Anyways I applied a lot of lotion and they seemed to diminish so much that it looked like before I scratched. If stretch marks come, there's nothing you can do about it but scratching the itch does increase it terribly because the nails break the skin more. The skin under your eyes is very thin and delicate, you've heard to just lightly dab creams underneath the eye. When the skin on the belly is stretching it becomes thin and delicate too. If you want to avoid stretch marks DO NOT SCRATCH.
Nooooo I have loads of stretch marks and never itch my skin on my belly or boobs I use creams 4-5 times a day and still covered in them
I've heard they get reallyyy bad if you scratch. If after lotion mines was still itching likee crazy. Lol I used gold bond&its works magic!!!
Spray moisture from vasiline helps lots...
or put babyoil (or proffered cream) onto an old face cloth and rub on you.
Must be an old cloth so its scratchy and not soft x
I already have small ones from weight loss earlier this year and Im really just doing anything I can to avoid anymore. I religiously put on cocoa butter stretch mark cream and bio oil but nothing stops the itching -_- what if I just rub with my palms?
It's more that itchy skin means it's dry and that's from stretching. My boobs were beyond itchy for weeks and I itched the heck out if them. No stretch marks yet but I'm expecting them.
It certainly dose...
try not to scratch ☺
