Bummer! Hopefully if medicaid hasn't been charged yet for an u/s they will still cover you for one. I'd keep pushing for one BUT if not, I'd pay for one out of pocket.
Very true there! Or they get reamed from the patient on the phone! I'm known to do that lmao...
But that's because something will **** me off, like mostly this happens when it comes to the nurses that deal with my sons kidney! I ream their butts! LOL
I would do the same thing. That is ridiculous. I suggest you do what ashiepooh advised you. Ask for the doctor and not the nurse. Doctors tend to be nicer than the nurses anyway LOL. not that the nurses have a choice because they get to take the heat from the doctors if something happens.
It's worth a shot, I'd say "I wanna talk to a doctor, not a nurse please!" lol
I dont really have a doctor yet, i just got one 2 days ago because i just finally got medicaid. I lasways see someone different at the community health clinic. Maybe the new doctor will issue one.
demand to talk to your Doctor...not the nurse. If you want to talk to the doctor, they have to let you!
Thats what i thought, and the fact it was on my own time. I will call them today. The nurse didnt know what she was doing anyways. I tried asking her, she pretty much said i couldnt.
I would call and demand one as well.. And emergency u.s shouldn't count "against" you..
er u/s don't count against clinic and doctor offices. And between 18-24 weeks is when they need to do all the measuring to make sure baby is growing properly and make sure they don't see any defects in the organs.
I'd say, call and demand it.
Well thats why i went to the ER when i was 15 weeks so i would have to pay for it. i went on my own time because of the pains i was having for 3 weeks. I dont know, i guess i can always try to come up with $200 for the ultrasound clinics or whatever yo you call them...
you might be able to pay for it?
