i am going thru the exact thing . my positive test t was on 2/14. and i have had four transvaginal ultrasounds . all showing a sac but no baby. well from what i have been reading( and i have been reading) this happens in 50% of pregnancies. most women do not know they were ever pregnant and have a miscarriage which seems like a normal period. because you are still in the early stages it is a possibility it is just too soon. or it could be a blithed ovum. that is the scary part. my dr. told me today to be prepared for this not to be an viable pregnancy. Scary to just have to sit and wait. but if you want this baby that is all you can do. I wish you the best and pray you see that baby in two weeks.
ELLIE_05 IS RIGHT... WELL... MY MD GAVE IT TWO WEEKS TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY CHANGES... ON THE 31ST I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY D & C... THE BABY FINALLY DEVELOPED BUT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO MOVEMENT NOR HEARTBEAT.. WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE... I WAS HEART BROKEN..I HAD PREPARED MYSELF FOR THE WORST..WHICH DIDNT CHANGE WHAT I FELT.. BUT IT HAS HELPED ME...AND I GOT TO SEE MY LIL BABY BEFORE THE PROCEDURE WAS DONE... CAT 519 I WISH YOU THE BEST... HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE BETTER LUCK THAN I DID.. AND IF NOT... I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT UR GOING THROUGH.. ILL PRAY FOR A HAPPY OUTCOME FOR YOU.. GOD BLESS :)
I know what you are going through i went through all of that in january this year and my ended up bad news and most of them do.
A prenancy test (wee) is picked up when you are about 4-6wks and there is always something there like a heart bet, they told me that if there is no heart bet then it is not normal, and that is hard to hear.
I wish you all the best.
not to scare you but the same thing happened to me. the doctor said it could be a missed misscarriage also. it actually ended up being a molar pregnancy
Hello,
Seeing a yolk sac only cannot guarantee a normal early pregnancy. You'll need to follow up with a repeat ultrasound as scheduled.
Best regards,
Dr. Downing
