Msanti22, thats how my job is as well.
Wow. Maternity leave in Canada is awesome. We get 6 weeks unpaid personal leave if you aren't withthe ccompany for a year then 8 weeks if you are. Still unpaid either way.
They pay a whole bunch in taxes but have some cool benefits across the border.
Oh, wow! I have never heard of that.
In Canada (not sure if that is where she is from) they give one year maternity leave after a baby and she has an 8 month old and is 9 weeks pregnant. So, still on maternity leave from baby number one until January.
You're 9 weeks pregnant & on maternity leave? Huh?
Yes, I'd wait until you are out of the first trimester. And then is there any reason you can't work during your pregnancy. Go back in January and work until you have this baby and then start maternity leave? That is probably what they'll want you to do. good luck
Agreed with boothang8695. Wait until you slowly start to show,be honest with your doctor - tell them you are afraid to tell your work. But overall don't stress about it too much. They have no right to be upset or angry.
I would just wait to tell them until your farther along, or if your Dr ends up putting u on restrictions for at work, they can't do anything either way but I would wait awhile before telling them
