The Glucose Test

So I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning and I am due for my glucose test very soon and I am extremely nervous.. How did it go for you mums? What does it determine exactly? All I really know is that you're not suppose to eat and it's a three hour test and involves a sugar based drink?

I had to fast for 3 hours then had to drink this drink that tasted like Hawaiian punch ( I got the fruit punch ) drink it all under 5 mins then you sit there and wait for an hour then they draw your blood and you go home.

It checks to see if you have gestational diabetes. It's not bad at all. Mine was only an hour long. You drink a drink that kind of tastes like flat orange soda and then they do bloodwork an hour later
