This forum

I'm not pregnant anymore, but I still like to come on here and see if I can answer stuff for people who are pregnant. But it's kind of scary to answer let alone post anything. Everyone is going to have different opinions on almost anything. And for the past month or so all I've seen is ladies commenting with rude, judgemental, or what they say is "just informative" comments. These women are going to do what they want bein mean isn't going to change that. And if you want to tell them the bad side of something they are considering you could at least do it in a nice and actually informative way. Also everyone is complaining that this website isn't what it used to be, but its only go to be as good as we make it so maybe we should all go back to preschool and if we don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Being pregnant is hard and stressful enough, we come on here for support not to be put down for asking something others don't think is worth asking. And as far as the TTC, ignore it or answer itt nicely or miscategorize it. I don't see why everyone gets mad at those women for using the wrong forum but don't mind postpartum questions. I know they can just take a test but obviously they just want to hear it from someone else that they might be. Ugh, sorry really long but it was just starting to get out of hand, and usually I'm not one to say anything but I love this forum and want it to be as helpful to the newly pregnant women as it was for me during my pregnancy.

I agree, I feel like when we started our pregnancies this forum was a completely different forum, I'm finding myself wanting to answer or post questions less and less.

You are 100% dead on! No one is without sin or perfect but when it comes to another many fail to look in the mirror before jumping down someone else's throat! It angers me at some of the things people say to these women like they're saints, please! Marijuana is harmful but so is every drug, narcotics, amphetamines and so on, you're just using the controlled portion but there are still uncontrollable side effects with any! Its the way of the world for women to be so judgmental of other women but can find compassion for their slimeball men.... I wish everyone a safe and healthy pregnancy & the greatest joy in motherhood ♥

I agree!! We can b total b****s sometimes. And we have to understand that there aee questions that we dont consider to be important but yet we are answering them really rude. I love this forum i have gotten alot of questions answers and i hope ive helped also. But we should make it better instead of putting each other down just bump up the question

Heart) and who knows?
It might actually cause a difference as opposed to defensive stances and confusion/hurt.

Absolutely agreed, Jessica.

And who are we to judge?
Not any one of us is perfect.
Just because someone comes out and (honestly) tells us they have maybe 'made a mistake' or 'need advice' after something that may be deemed stupid, doesn't mean we have to br the ones to make another feel bad.
Obviously,  most these moms feel bad enough.
Asking for help is not easy.
Why is being mean the first response?
Wheres the compassion.
Bambi rules, rule.
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Can be more than honest and up front with facts instead of bombarding with hurtful opinions.
(PLUS, more of what you say will actually get taken to heart

Obviously those smoking weed stuff is a little ridiculous but it doesn't mean people should be telling her she shouldn't have her baby or that she should have it taken away. And telling her the negative effects of smoking weed is what people should tell her. Not that she doesn't deserve her baby.

I'm not being funny but I like this forum too, but when you get questions like " I'm smoking weed all the time to help get rid of my morning sickness"  do you think that people aren't going to judge, I'm not being rude, but like you I like reading people's stories and if they have a serious question I like to help if I can, but questions like that make me so angry to know that you would put your babies health at risk just to make yourself feel better ya know, congrats on becoming a mummy :)
