Looking for a pediatrician?

I was wondering how soon show I find a pediatrician I'm 22 week and 3days should I start looking now?

I asked other moms around me that I knew, in the neighborhood, at church, at the gym . . . for a pediatrician they recommend.  I wanted one close to my house for convenience.  Then I called that office and told them I'm pregnant.  They had me come in to meet her and establish as a patient (doing some paper work) for like 5 or 10 minutes.  I did this around 34 weeks.  So, we were set to go with a pediatrician close to our home as soon as we had the baby.  You usually bring a newborn in to the doctor a day or few days after getting out of the hospital so it's great to have it all ready to go!  good luck

When I had my daughter a pediatrician came in and talked to me since she was the pediatrician that day I went with her. For my son when he's born I'm going to have him there as well. I'm in Canada so ohip covers the costs for everything. Not sure how other insurances but if you have tood insurance you can start looking now

Um I'm not really sure how your insurance and all works but i was assinged to one with my first baby and will again be given one for my now sencond and then later change it to one of your choice i would ask the docot your seeing now or your insurance :) they'll be able to tell you what to do or assign one for you
