Throbbing pelvic pain 4w3d?

Sunday night I had excruciating pain between my hip bones(no bleeding). This is my second child and never experienced this with the first... is this normal at 4 weeks?

I found out I was expecting at 4w 4d and I have been having cramps a few times a week. I'm 7w 1d now. My doctor said it was normal as your body is doing a lot of changing, as long as there is no bleeding. I have had a few sharp pains from time to time and I called just to be sure, and he said some women experience more cramps than others, and just to make sure they are no worse than menstrual cramps. Hope this helps, and congratulations!
