Tips for bouncing back

Ive felt so lucky to not having to buy maternity clothes, but these last 2weeks I def cant fit into my jeans lol... my belly hangs too low! The bellyband has been the most amazing thing ever i wear it everyday, the only piece of maternity clothes I've bought haha
Anywho... Does breastfeeding REALLY help you lose the extra pounds?
I was so sick in the first 5months that i lost a total of 40lbs.
I've gained 18back but its allllll in my belly! I've been reading about losing the weight and some women saying it does help and that it doesn't. I would LOVE to stay down at a normal size. I'm not too far from where id like to be either.
I'm sure it depends on how i eat after and if i exercise. I just don't want to blow up after. I want to be able to enjoy my child and do activities with her :)

Awesome this really makes me so happy to hear :) I have been so active my whole pregnancy and I'm so grateful for having the strength. After my mom passed i went from a decent weight for my height 180 to 240lbs. I am very weight proportioned but let myself go after her passing. I really want to get back down to that weight! Hopefully breastfeeding will knock me a little closer to my weight goal. Ill be planning my wedding once i get back to myself :) Thank yall

I gained over 50lbs with my first lost all but 5lbs from bfing (no diet or exercise) but gained 20 back after I weaned after a yr. Ur body burns like 500+ some calories a day just making food for ur baby I honestly don't know why anyone wouldn't bf if they can

I lost alot of my pregnancy weight when i breastfed the last time but only could do it for around 5 or 6 wks as i found it very hard and demanding and could not get into a proper feeding routine. This time i will try again, but worried as i am actually about 3 times bigger than i was the last time so id say ive alot to lose.but at least this time i know what to expect with the breastfeeding and adamant to do it for longer.so hopefully all will work out. Also drinking raspberry leaf tea every day a few wks before labour and a few wks after helps strengthen ur uterus muscles which means they will contract much better back to normal size after birth

I lost thirty pounds in the first six weeks, but I also put on sixty during my pregnancy. I lost all my pregnancy weight by my daughter's first birthday. Sometimes breastfeeding can cause you to hang onto a bit of extra weight until you stop but not always. Good luck mama.
